Vodafone Christmas prepaid plans

Vodafone goes for a revamp

If you’re thinking of changing your telco, it’s probably the right time. Vodafone is offering a range of hot offers this month on prepaid and postpaid plans. Though the company doesn’t enjoy the same coverage as Telstra, it’s slowly winning the hearts of customers through its innovative approach.  With a possible merger with TPG fast approaching, the company is trying to increase their share of the market by revamping their pre-paid plans and offering monthly and combo plus plans.

With the introduction of new prepaid plans, the company is trying to give tough competition to others in the marketplace.

What’s the irresistible deal?

Recently, the telco has refreshed the Combo Plus prepaid plans with additional data and international inclusions. Currently, the company is running the half-price promotion sale on the $50 combo plus starter plan. The plan is now available for $25, and it fetches data of 50 GB for 35 days. However, the discount applies only to the starter pack and the recharges will be at the full price. In the half-price sale, you can enjoy unlimited national calls, SMS, texts and video texts to Australian numbers. Additionally, you’re entitled to 50 GB of high-speed data. Also included is 1000 minutes of standard international calls to Zone 1 countries and 150 minutes free to Zone 2 countries.

Vodafone are offering 20 GB of extra data to use in Australia with the SIM starter pack if you recharge and activate the pack by the 31st of January 2019. Any unused data will rollover to your next combo or equal recharges made before 30th April 2019.

The half-price sale from Vodafone is likely to become a game changer this Christmas. The company is leaving no stone unturned to attract the potential market.

Alternatively, the telco is offering $40 and $30 plans which offer 40 GB and 30 GB of free data for 35 days. In the former plan, you get 500 minutes of international calls to Zone 1 and 100 minutes of international calls to Zone 2. However, the international inclusion is not a part of the $30 plan.

The cold war between Telstra and Vodafone

With a lot of options available for Australian customers, both Telstra and Vodafone are trying to retain customers this Christmas. While Telstra enjoys a major chunk of the market, it’s known for its expensive plans. On the other hand, Vodafone is trying to shift their focus to phone plans after some major network issues a few years back. The Christmas offer might be good value, but the telco will need to commit to long term changes that ensure customers will have access to plans that offer value for money, good network coverage, and quality.

In a bid to lure customers to the brand, both Telstra and Vodafone are offering irresistible offers for Christmas.
