Why Telstra? Some Telstra products include perks like free access to live sports streaming and Apple Music subscriptions.
Telstra also has the best coverage in Australia, but the difference between networks is negligible. Plan providers like Boost use Telstra’s entire network and often have cheaper prices.
I’d suggest looking at phone plans for seniors for a better deal than Telstra.
Is Telstra the best deal for you?
We all love the idea of a discount, but in this case I’d strongly advise checking other options, especially for your phone plan. Even with a $19 discount, you’ll still pay $31 per month for a very small amount of data.
By comparison, other smaller telcos may charge $20 per month for 20GB or more. These telcos use one of the three networks (Telstra, Optus or Vodafone) to run their plans, so you’re still getting quality coverage. It’s really just a question of how much you want to spend.
